AI Tracking. The Sony BRC-AM7 4K60 PTZ Camera is a compact camera that can take care of all your camera movements automatically. Using AI analytics to identify subjects and poses and a powerful image-processor to enhance tracking, the BRC-AM7 can automatically and effectively adjust pan, tilt, and zoom to track subjects in motion, great for performances, sporting events, and more.

Built-In Lens. The integrated lens is good for 24-480mm—that’s 20x optical zoom! Digitally, it can go even further – at 4K, 30x zoom provides an equivalent 720mm, or 40x at 1080p, a whopping 940mm!

Function and Form. This PTZ camera, while great for taking care of numerous shooting scenarios, also provides support for recording formats like S-Cinetone, S-Log3, and 709/709tone, offering advanced post processing control.

Stay Connected. The BRC-AM7 supports HDMI, 12G-SDI, 3-pin XLR connectors (two of them!), a 3.5mm stereo jack, Power over Ethernet, and an extra 3G-SDI output for monitoring. Your power options include PoE++ or the 4-pin XLR input. Oh, and you get Timecode and Genlock inputs!

Is there anything I need to know about powering this camera?

Yes! If you’re powering the camera over ethernet, you won’t be able to use the internal clip recording or playback, media initialization or update, and OPTICAL output features. You’ll need to use the included AC adapter to use those features.
Do not connect a DC power cable to the camera’s DC IN connector when using PoE++ power delivery with soft authentication (LLDP) enabled.
