How good is the battery life?

You can get up to 220 max-power flash pops on 1 charge, or up to 50 minutes of LED. It takes approximately 90 minutes to charge to 100%.

Can I use any softbox with this?

This flash head uses the Profoto OCF line, which includes over 120 light-shaping tools from Profoto. You can also use other brands’ modifiers with a Profoto OCF speedring adapter. Additionally, an umbrealla mount is integrated into the stand adapter (shaft must be between 7-8mm).

Is the stand adapter removable? Can I use a different kind of stand adapter?

The stand adapter is removable but you won’t be able to use a different one. The connector is unique to Profoto.
