The Atomos Shogun 7 is a 7.2-inch 4K HDMI and SDI HDRmonitor that records in 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD, and DNxHR. Key features include:

15-stop HDR dynamic range; 10-bit signal processor
High Bright mode for easy outdoor use
Captures DCI 4K 60p in Apple ProRes or DNxHR or 2K up to 240 fps
Improved, more durable construction

4K Connectivity and Recording. Like the Shogun Inferno, the Shogun 7 has support for quad, dual, or single BNCconnections. In addition to multiple SDI inputs, the Shogun 7 also supports HDMI 2.0v for 4K capture up to 60p. Full recording format options include ProRes RAW, ProRes, CinemaDNG, and DNxHD. Please note, this recorder does not currently support iso recording or switching.

Improved Display. The Shogun 7’s 1500 cd/m² display features Atomos’ 360 zone backlight, boasting an impressive 15+ stops of dynamic range for incredibly accurate color reproduction that can be viewed even in brightest of environments.

AtomOS 10. The Shogun 7 runs the latest Atomos operating system featuring an intuitive user interface and one touch tool setup. The Shogun 7 also allows for instant playback, slow motion, and frame analysis for in-the-field review.

More Rugged Construction. The Shogun 7 was rethought with a focus on real-world production environments. The improved housing panels feature reinforced panels near at the top and bottom 1/4-20 mounts. Dual Sony L-Series battery plate enable longer record times and allow hot swapping for a full day of shooting.
