Anything else I should know?

Just a small bit about how you’ll receive the order! We include two cage arms and two rosettes with the rental, but only one of each will be attached when you receive it.

I've heard CFast can be a bit finicky, what are the best practices when using this type of media?

Format each memory card every time it is inserted into the camera, no exceptions.
Do not allow cards to fill completely, always leave a few unused Gigabytes.
Use Sandisk’s Format and Refresh Tool every time you finish transferring footage.
Transfer footage using a media management utility, like ShotPut Pro.
Whenever possible, record to both memory card slots at the same time, for safety.

Are there any travel restrictions on this product that I should be concerned about?

The FAA have changed their guidelines dealing with rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs. If the TSA finds batteries that are not in compliance with their rules when they inspect your baggage, they’ll discard them, and we’ll charge you for the missing equipment. Consider shipping the battery ahead to a FedEx store if you’ll be traveling to your shoot location.

What are the benefits of the dual shutter?

The Global Shutter is recommended for scientific measurements, light synchronization, or reducing shutter artifacts. When using the GS, black shading becomes imperative before each capture, you lose approximately 9 stops from your dynamic range, and the base ISO raises to 640, making it more prone to noise.
The Rolling Shutter broadens your dynamic range to 12.5 stops, has low noise with a base ISO of 320, but as with most rolling shutters, is more prone to digital artifacts, especially when using low quality lights.
