Super-Cardioid Polar Pattern. The Rode NTG-2 Shotgun’s super-cardioid polar pattern minimizes off-axis noise, which makes it great for working in noisy ambient environments. Its frequency response covers 20-20,000 Hz, with an optional high-pass filter at 80Hz to prevent excess handling noise.
Power Options. This mic can operate from an internal 1.5V AA battery (not included) or an external +48V phantom source.
