The IB/E Optics Raptor 180mm T2.9 Macro Prime (PL) is a true macro prime with a 1:1 maximum magnification ratio, a 18.5-inch minimum focusing distance, and a 8.6-inch minimum working distance to let you get in reasonably close. Its bright T2.9 maximum aperture makes it great for low-light shooting and gives you substantial depth-of-field control for creative selective-focusing applications. Using this lens on larger-format digital cinema cameras will give you very shallow depth of field and produce a distinctively “filmic” look.
