Fujinon's MK series of Cine Zooms have a whole slew of features sure to make any filmmaker worth their salt drool. First off, they are only designed for Sony E Mount Super-35 sized sensors, so they're a perfect fit for the Sony FS7M2, FS7, and FS5. Three geared rings, one for focus, zoom, and iris ensure precise adjustments. These lenses are parafocal meaning they maintain their focus even while zooming. The focus, zoom, and iris locations are identical between lenses (as well as the weight and length,) so you can easily swap while maintaining follow focus and matte box locations. The front diameter of the lens enables you to use threaded 82mm filters while the outer diameter of 85mm fits perfectly in most modern matte boxes. A constant T2.9 aperture throughout the zoom range has a 9 blade design for creamy bokeh. A built-in adjustment mechanism to adjust flange focal distance ensures this lens will work flawlessly without shims. Close focusing is fantastic on this lens, 3'11" in normal mode switchable down to 2'9" in macro mode.
