The AJA 2-Channel 12G-SDI to Single-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter is a stand-alone SDI-to-Fiber converter capable of ingesting two independent SDI video inputs and converting them to two simplex or one duplex fiber out via LC connectors. Key features include:

SDI-to-Fiber Pathway. The AJA 2-Channel 12G-SDI to Single-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter allows your video signal to travel distances of up to six miles by converting independent G/6G/12G-SDI dual channel inputs to Single-Mode fiber optic outputs. The fiber outputs use LC connectors and supports two simplex or a single duplex feeds.

Broadcast Standards. The AJA FiDo family of fiber converters meet all relevant SMPTE specifications and offer electrical isolation to eliminate potential ground loop problems, for a 12G solution built to improve professional workflows. All ancillary data, including embedded audio is passed.

SDI Reclocking. This AJA Mini Converter equalizes and auto-reclocks your SDI inputs which helps to reduces jitter and optimizes the eye pattern before the signal is processed to the driver. This allows for improved performance over long cable runs. Need a Fiber-to-SDI receiver? We recommend the AJA FiDo-2R-12G.

Pocket-Sized for Portability. AJA Mini-Converters are small enough to fit behind a monitor, in the back of a rack or directly on a camera rig. FiDO converters use a compact, low profile enclosure that works well in tight spaces around and behind equipment racks, trucks and on camera.

No. This device should only be used with SFP modules manufactured by AJA.
