Easy Riser. The Wooden Camera Easy Riser Baseplate for RED DSMC2 adjusts the Weapon to the optimal lens height for adding accessories and fits in within the Weapon’s footprint. The baseplate also adds an array of 1/4"-20 mounting points to the camera base.
15mm Accessories. The Easy Riser Baseplate comes equipped with the DSMC2 Lightweight 15mm Rod Bracket, which brings the rods closer to the front of the camera and places them at the proper position in relation to the lens. We include two six-inch rods with the rental, but we also rent additional lengths here.
No Top Plate. We chose to forego a top plate due to fan placement and the numerous existing 1/4"-20 mounting points. This also helps to lighten the load, as well as price. However, we do include a 1/4"-20 Shoe Mount adapter quick accessory attachment.
