The Canon RC-IP100 Touchscreen PTZ Joystick Controller gives you smooth, precise IP or serial control over up to one hundred Canon PTZ cameras from a remote location. Key features include:

Control Up to One Hundred Supported Cameras. The Canon RC-IP100 Touchscreen PTZ Joystick Controller uses Canon’s new XC protocol to give you IP control over 99 supported Canon PTZ cameras including the CR-N500.

Smooth PTZ Movement, Advanced Remote Functionality. The RC-IP100’s ultra-responsive joystick gives you the smooth, accurate PTZ control you need for professional productions. In addition, you can remotely control, adjust, and set the pan, tilt, and zoom functions; register up to one hundred presets per camera; and manage a range of other settings and customizations from trace movement to picture quality. The trace function can store camera movements and then recall them with the push of a button.

Intuitive Controls. In addition to the aforementioned joystick, the RC-IP100 has a zoom lever; a large, seven-inch touch panel for intuitive navigation, and six programmable buttons that let you set things up just so. The included 12V AC adapter allows for continuous power but please note, using a 24V AC adapter will cause permanent damage to controller.

Q & A

Why is there a warning label next to the DC input?

The Canon RC-IP100 uses a 12V power adapter, which is included with this rental, and also flagged with a matching label for your convenience.
Select compatible cameras like the Canon CR-N500 use a 24V power adapter with a similar barrel size, but that power adapter will cause permanent damage to the RC-IP100 if used by mistake.
We understand how quickly things can move during a production and decided to add our own labels to the RC-IP100 controller and power adapter to help you identify the compatible items in a pinch.

Is this controller compatible with all PTZ cameras?

No. The RC-IP100 is only compatible with select Canon PTZ cameras including the CR-N500, CR-X500, CR-N300, and CR-X300.
