The Bolin EXU248N is an outdoor streaming camera with a super robust, weather-resistant build, including a wiper, a heater, and a defroster. Key features include:
48x zoom in 1080p, 18x zoom in 4K
Zeiss lens with wide 64.6º angle of view
High-speed 60º/s pan and tilt
Supports global NDI transmission
Remote Production in Any Weather. The Bolin EXU248N is designed specifically for extreme weather survival and is equipped with a hidden windshield wiper and a sun shield. With an IP67-rated, nitrogen-filled housing, this PTZ camera is prepared to withstand dust, water, and extreme temperatures so that you can stream in rain, snow, or direct sun.
NDI Functionality. Send high-quality, low-latency video over IP networks across great distances thanks to the Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity of NDI Bridge. The Bolin EXU248N is equipped with NDI Embedded Bridge to meet the demands of next-generation workflows. This is ideal for large, multi-venue outdoor events or for teams working together on a stream from remote locations. In support of this, the Bolin EXU248N offers HDMI and SDI ports and can output two simultaneous IP streams via RTP, RTMP, RTSP, or SRT using H.264, H.265, and M-JPEG formats.
Freedom of Movement with FreeD. The Bolin EXU248N can output FreeD data, which adds the tracking information needed for smooth panning, tilting, and zooming when focused on a designated subject at up to 8 axes of movement. This protocol is also useful for virtual live video so that you can easily integrate animations to your stream, including visual effects that interact with the live action on stage. Explore this further with FreeD integration software from UNreal Engine and Disguise.
Other Notable Features. With a Sony 4K image block sensor, this camera offers excellent low-light sensitivity, which is further supported by the fast f/2.8 Zeiss lens. The Bolin EXU248N also offers optical image stabilization, an ND filter, a massive zoom range (up to 48x in 1080p and 18x in 4K30), built-in effects like mirror image and character overlay, and a large, removable tally light. This is an ideal live broadcast camera for major outdoor events or streaming in places with extreme weather.
We provide a sticker on the side of the camera with all WebUI login information.
This is a steaming camera and there are no media storage slots built in. To save your recording, you must use either software or a separate recorder or drive – usually in conjunction with a switcher. If you need help with any of this, please contact us.
Once connected to a network, you will need to configure the camera using the web interface configuration tool on a web browser. You will access this using the camera’s IP address as your web address. Details can be found in Bolin’s user guide.
There are standard 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount holes on the base of the camera.
