The RED V-RAPTOR Expander Blade mounts to your RED V-RAPTOR 8K VV DSMC3 or ST 8K VV DSMC3 Cinema Camera and adds power, video, and communication ports to give you camera-configuration options for professional applications. It connects to the camera via the camera’s nine-pin EXT port and is supported by an included Arca-Swiss plate. Once attached, the Expander Blade provides a BNC connector (Genlock video), a five-pin connector for timecode, a four-pin connector for RED CTRL, and a three-pin Fischer for Run/Stop. Please note that the three-pin Run/Stop is only for triggering and doesn’t supply power.
