You get 0.50x macro capability at 300mm for higher resolution macro images. Its f/4.5-5.6 aperture is plenty fast for daytime use, but you probably won’t want to shoot too much in low light with this lens.

L-Mount Alliance. This wide-diameter lens mount is a joint collaboration between Leica, Panasonic, and Sigma that’s focused on a line of premium cameras & lenses in a mirrorless format. At 51.6mm mount diameter and just 20mm flange distance, the L-mount is well-suited for fast-aperture full-frame optics with compact dimensions.

Improved Tracking. This lens combines half-macro and conventional tracking accuracy by increasing the zoom-position detection performance by three times, and wobbling control at 240 Hz means that precise zoom-tracking control is up to eight times faster during telephoto operation.
