Versatile All-In-One Zoom. With a focal length equivalent to 27-210mm after sensor-crop, the Nikon Z 18-140mm f/3.5-6.3 DX VR covers a wide-angle to telephoto focal-length range that make it great for landscapes, travel photography, walk-around shooting, portraiture, and capturing distant, fast-moving subjects.

Variable Aperture. The variable f/3.5-6.3 aperture isn’t useful for low-light shooting, so you’ll probably want to stick with outdoor-lighting conditions for best results. The rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth, pleasing bokeh for shallow depth-of-field techniques.

Vibration Reduction. The built-in vibration reduction provides up to 5 stops of correction for minimizing camera shake at slower shutter speeds and producing sharper results when shooting hand-held.

High-Quality Optics. The 18-140mm’s thirteen-group/seventeen-element optical design includes one extra-low dispersion element and one aspherical element that combine to help produce sharp, high-contrast images and reduce color fringing and aberrations throughout the zoom range. The Super Integrated Coating also helps keep optical aberrations and distortion at bay.

Stepping Motor Autofocus System. This system uses a stepping motor for smooth, nearly silent performance that’s great for stills and video alike. You also get full-time manual focusing for precision adjustments, while the internal-focusing design means that the lens maintains its length during focusing.
