The Magewell USB Capture SDI Gen 2 is a small, SDI-capable camera capture device that transmits up to 2K/60p via USB 3.1 Type A to compatible computers as a webcam input. Key features include:

Simple HDMI Streaming. The Magewell USB Capture SDI Gen 2 will accept SDI signals up to 2K/60p through its 3G-SDI input and send it to your computer via a USB 3.1 Type A connector.

Internal Processing. The USB Capture SDI takes some of the load off of your computer by internally processing audio, video resolution, and frame rate conversion on the ingested video and outputting it over USB.

Compatibility. This video capture device can be used with any computer featuring a USB 3.1 Type A port and will show in most apps as a USB webcam for quick setup and easy integration into whatever video streaming application you will be using.

Yes. This device will not function properly on a computer with only USB 2.0 ports.
