Optical Image Stabilization. The in-lens stabilizer helps to minimize camera shake at slower shutter speeds by up to five stops, which may be necessary if shooting under indoor lighting conditions due to the limited f/3.5-5.6 aperture.

High-Quality Optics. Four aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements help to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range, while HT-EBCmulti-layer coatings eliminate ghosting and lens flare.
