Quick Release Stabilization. The Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light w/ Quick Release adds a quick release mount to the STABIL system in place of the standard spring-loaded clamp. This mount comes pre-installed along with two ball joints, one with 3/8"-16 threads and another with 1/4"-20 threads, so you can mount any gear you need. The quick release mount supports load capacities even greater than the STABIL Light arm, so you won’t have to worry about that. You will, however, need to keep your rig under 15.4 lbs, as that’s the maximum load capacity of the support arm.

Overload-Protection System. Exceeding the Minimax’s 15.4-lb. weight limit will trip the overload-protection system, which keeps the spring from breaking.
