Versatile Parfocal Cine Zoom. The DZOFilm Pictor 50-125mm T2.8 Parfocal Zoom provides a broad range of focal lengths that makes it a versatile cine lens, particularly for run-and-gun documentary-style shooting. Its sixteen-blade aperture produces round, extremely pleasing bokeh, and its parfocal design means it holds focus throughout the zoom range. Its internal-focusing floating-elements construction all but eliminates focus breathing.

Cinema Design. The 50-125mm T2.8’s aperture and focusing rings boast standard 0.8 mod gears so that you can easily install a follow-focus system. Its 95mm front diameter lets you use standard matte boxes, and there’s an 86mm filter thread to boot. The included lens-support foot helps reduce strain on your camera’s lens port by using the lens with rods.

Please Note: This rental includes an attached 3/8-16" threaded support foot, but we recommend you provide additional support by using a Wooden Camera 15mm Universal Lens Support in conjunction with a baseplate and rail system. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Is this lens compatible with PL-mount optical extenders?

No. This lens’s mount baffle extends too far to be compatible with most PL-mount adapters that feature optical elements.
In our testing this lens will not work with the Atlas 1.6x LF Extender, IB/E Optics PLx2 Optical Extender 2x, or the IB/E Optics PLx1.4 Mark II Optical Extender 1.4×. If you have specific compatibility concerns, please contact us.

Should I use additional support with this lens?
