Compatibility. The DJI L-Bracket Plate with Counterweight Set is designed specifically for use with the DJI Ronin-S and Ronin-SC Gimbal Stabilizers. If you are hoping to use this on any other model, it is not recommended.

L-Bracket. The L-bracket plate connects to the vertical L-bracket side, and the roll axis arm clamp connects to the gimbal motor arm on the opposite side of the camera; each provides a thread to mount one of the included counterweights to ensure proper balance. Three 7.1 oz and three 3.5 oz interchangeable, stackable counterweights are included, as are two 1/4"-20 mounting screws and an Allen wrench.

Are there any special considerations I should be aware of?

The DJI L-Bracket Plate with Counterweight Set for Ronin-S/SC is a very modular solution that can be used to aid balancing long, front-heavy setups. If this describes your setup, we strongly recommend you step up to the DJI Ronin-S over the smaller -SC.
While you definitely can use this with the Ronin-SC, in most front-heavy setups you will almost certainly be bumping into the maximum weight capacity of the SC gimbal.
