Critical Characteristics. Remus lenses preserve a lot of the characteristics of 2x anamorphic lenses, including oval bokeh, 3D-like effects, shallow depth of field, and flaring, but the lower factor allows these lenses to be both smaller and lighter. When paired with a full frame camera, a 1.5x 100mm provides a spherical equivalent/horizontal focal length of around 67mm.

Suitable for Solo Shooters. Easily swap out different Remus primes without having to adjust your follow focus setup thanks to unified and industry-standard 0.8 MOD gearing. The focus rotation is 150-degrees, which makes focusing by hand easier, and the 77mm front threading will accommodate affordable and readily-available filters. The outside diameter is 80mm, which is compatible with most pro matte boxes for using high-end drop-in filters. A port for adding lens support is on the barrel of the lens, which is handy for heavier matte box setups.
