The iPad Mini 5 is a lightweight, fully-featured tablet that operates on Apple’s iOS interface. Key features include:

7.9" Multi-Touch Retina Display. The display boasts a native resolution of 2048 × 1536, with up to 3.1 million pixels at 326 ppi. The responsive touchscreen allows for simple controls of the tablet, as well as, the more advanced gesture commands of the iOS.

Apple A12 64-bit SOC with M12 Coprocessor. This tablet packs some serious processing power. The iPad mini 5 features the 12th-generation dual-core A12 processor with 3GB of RAM, allowing for quicker loading apps, and impressive performance with less drain on battery. If you want to rent this tablet to play games, we won’t judge.

GPS, Wi-fi. This tablet is fully compatible with your favorite iOS app controlled drone. Try the DJI Mavic 2 Pro or any of our other recommended drones on the right-hand side of this page.

256GB Storage Capacity. This unit comes equipped with 256GB of storage for a variety of apps, and content. Seriously, if you want to play games, it’s okay.

Apple Pencil Support. The Mini 5 adds support for Apple’s first-generation pencil. We do not include an Apple pencil with this rental.

Apple iOS. The iPad mini 5 is loaded with the latest operating system, so you can take advantage of the most recent improvements. The elegant and intuitive interface is straightforward and easy to use. If you own an iPhone, you know exactly what you’re getting.

To ensure your privacy, we erase all user data on our iPads as a routine part of our return-inspection process.

Q & A

Can I use Sidecar with this iPad?

No, you can’t use Sidecar with our managed iCloud accounts.

Does this tablet come preloaded with anything?

The iPad will arrive with a selection of relevant apps pre-installed, and additional free apps will be available through the Apple app store. Paid apps will not be available by default, but if your production requires them, you can log in with your own Apple ID to install new or previously purchased apps.
Though this iPad does have a 4G LTE chip (which is needed for GPS), this rental DOES NOT include a SIM card, meaning that there won’t be any cellular functionality out of the box. If you have your own SIM card to install, great. If not, you’ll be limited to Wi-Fi use only.

Does this rental include an Apple pencil?

No. While the iPad Mini 4 is compatible with the first generation Apple pencil, we do not include one with this rental. At this time, we do not offer it as a separate rental item.
