Coverage for Super 35 sensors
PL Mount Cine Zoom For Super 35 Sensors. The EZ-2 15-40mm T2.0 S35 (PL) is a wide angle cinema zoom lens featuring a PL mount for attaching it to a variety of PL mount cinema cameras. The rear lens group installed on this version provides coverage for cameras with Super35 sized sensors requiring an image circle smaller than 30mm. This lens does not have contacts to communicate with cameras.
Fast T2.0 Aperture & 2.6X Zoom Ratio. This lens features a very fast aperture of f/1.9 (T2.0) for work in low light conditions, and a 2.6X zoom ratio carries the focal range from 15mm to 40mm. Keep in mind this lens is for Super35 sensors and on such cameras will provide a range equivalent to roughly 22-60mm.
High Quality Build. Using Angenieux’s unique mechanical design, the EZ-2 has exceptionally precise zoom and focus. It features calibrated focus marks, no ramping or breathing, and standard 0.8 pitch FIZ rings. Despite its sturdy build, the lens is a fairly lightweight 4.7 lbs. A 114mm front diameter ensures compatibility with industry standard accessories.
