Are these really generic batteries?

Yes. Due to the official Nikon EN-EL20a being severely backordered, we opted to buy some generic batteries in the meantime to give customers a spare battery option for the Nikon P1000
Do note this rental include 2x of the Watson EN-EL20 battery due to its reduced 900mAh capacity compared to Nikon’s official EN-EL20a with 1110mAh capacity.
