Animal in a Cage. This cage is made up of several different components, all of which can be removed and added as needed. You’re provided with left/right side arm panels, a bottom plate, a top plate, and a side SSD plate, along with an integrated shoe mount, NATO rails, an ARRI-style rosette, 1/4"-20 threads, and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads.

Additionals and Extras. The included SSD plate is equipped with a slot that accepts SSD’s ranging from 2.05 to 2.36-inches wide and 0.47-inches thick, while a quick-release lever allows you lock and remove the drive at a moment’s notice. The Manfrotto-type quick-release dovetail easily monts your camera to whatever rig setup you have, and attaches to the PYXIS using a bottom thread that aligns perfectly with the optical center of the camera.
