The Sony XDCA-FS7 Extension Unit Kit for PXW-FS7 is an upgrade to the Sony PXW-FS7 that dramatically expands that camera’s capabilities. Key features include:

Send 12-bit 4K/2K RAW footage to an external recorder
Extra BNC terminals for multi-camera applications
Anton Bauer Gold Mount with three PowerTap outputs

Raw Output. Unlock the full potential of the FS7 with the ability to send 12-bit 4K/2K RAW footage to the Convergent Design Odyssey7Q Recorder. Alternatively, Sony has their own 4K Recorder Kit; however, we much prefer the Odyssey7Q and think you will too.

Expanded I/O. Use the FS7 in multi-camera systems, thanks to extra BNC terminals (Genlock, Timecode In/Out, and Reference Output).

Professional “Big” Batteries. The XDCA-FS7 replaces the camera’s battery compartment with a Sony V-Mount. We include an adapter to convert it to an Anton Bauer Gold Mount, which adds three PowerTap outputs.
