Advanced Optics. The FE 24mm f/2.8’s seven-group/eight-element optical design incorporates an advanced aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements to help produce sharp, clear images. The lens’s rounded seven-blade diaphragm gives images smooth bokeh when you’re using selective-focusing techniques, while a multi-coating reduces color fringing and aberrations.

Durable, Compact Build. This lens’s durable, dust- and moisture-resistant construction and rubberized control rings mean you can use it in adverse conditions without worry, and the lens’s front element has a fluorine coating to help protect it from fingerprints and debris.
