Fast-Aperture Wide Angle. With a focal length equivalent to 14-28mm post-sensor crop factor, the Olympus 7-14mm offers users a truly professional-grade wide-angle lens. Its minimal distortion makes it a perfect choice for architecture and landscape photography, while its fast f/2.8 aperture enables great low-light performance and relatively shallow depth of field with a wide angle.

Autofocus. The 7-14mm uses a nearly silent, high-speed Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) autofocus system. Like the other PRO-series lenses in Olympus’s lineup, there’s a manual focus clutch mechanism for quick adjustment.

High-Quality Build and Optics. The dust-, splash-, and freeze-proof design keeps you shooting even in poor working conditions. There’s a programmable L-Fn button for custom control, while the built-in petal hood helps to prevent lens flare and protect the front element. According to Olympus, the 7-14mm features two aspherical extra-low dispersion (ED) elements, one dual super aspherical element, one aspherical element, three super ED elements, one ED element, and two high refractive index (HR) elements that effectively eliminate distortion, aberrations, and color fringing. In other words, Olympus focused on optical performance.
