32-Bit Processor. The Metabones Canon EF to Sony E Speed Booster T CINE Ultra Adapter’s high-performance 32-bit processor allows it to support phase-detect and contrast-detect autofocus systems, and lets you control the aperture from the camera body. This adapter also supports smooth iris effects and five-axis image stabilization on select lenses.
Canon EF Lens To Sony E Camera. This adapter allows you to mount Canon EF-mount lenses to Sony E-mount cameras and camcorders. It supports the Sony PXW-FS7 Mark II.
Electronic Communication. This adapter’s programmable function button gives you quick access to frequently used settings and features. The adapter also offers electronic manual focusing, provides in-lens image stabilization, and transmits EXIF data to the camera. On certain camcorders and mirrorless cameras, it’ll display distance and zoom, enable auto-magnify, and, depending on the lens you’re using, can automatically switch to APS-C mode.
Ultra Update. The Ultra line of Speed Boosters features an improved four-group/five-element optical design with ultra-high index tantalum-based optical glass to achieve extraordinary optical performance. You’ll see noticeably improved corner sharpness, less distortion, and reduced corner vignetting.
Wider Focal Length and Increased Aperture. This version of the Speed Booster widens the mounted lens’s focal length by 0.71x, effectively reducing the overall sensor crop factor from 1.5x to 1.07×. The adapter also increases the mounted lens’s maximum aperture by one stop.
Sturdy Design with Built-In Tripod Foot. This adapter’s brass and chromium build ensures durability. It includes a removable Arca-type tripod foot with a 1/4”-20 thread on its base for use with larger lenses. A weather-resistant rubber mount gasket protects your camera from the elements, while a built-in felt flocking prevents reflections.
