Micro Ball Head. The Manfrotto 492 LCD Micro Ball Head with Cold Shoe features a micro ball head that allows free range of positioning. It offers -90° / +40° front tilt range, -90° / +40° lateral tilt range, panoramic 360° rotation, and a large, ergonomic knob for tightening.
1/4"-20 Mount. The 1/4"-20 mount enables a wide variety of accessory items to be mounted via their 1/4"-20 threading. It’s ideal for mics, video lights, monitors, audio recorders, and flashes.
Sturdy Construction. The 492 LCD is made from sturdy aluminum, allowing it to remain a lightweight 0.5 lb. The mount itself supports up to 8.8 lbs.; however, keep in mind that this is mounting to a small hot shoe on an expensive camera, so we wouldn’t recommend pushing that limit too much.
