Pairs Ikelite DS Strobes with Underwater Housings. The Ikelite Fiber Optic Converter & Cable for Sea&Sea / Olympus is a kit combining the Ikelite 4501 Fiber Optic cable and the 4401.3 Fiber Optic converter for use with housings requiring the Sea&Sea/Olympus type connection, like the Ikelite Sony RX100 VA Underwater Camera Kit. Because the Ikelite housing is opaque, the camera’s built-in flash can only be used to trigger an external strobe via fiber optic. Pair this cable / converter kit with the RX100 Underwater Kit and the Ikelite DS161 Strobe Kit.

Fiber Optic Converter. The converter included in this kit is a third generation adapter designed to keep weight low, maintain durability, and accurately read LED signals for fast triggering. It can only be used with a single Ikelite DS-model strobe and has a depth rating of 295 feet. The coiled cable with this kit is 18 inches long and can stretch to 30 inches in length, and features multi-core construction for optimal signal transmission.
