DJI specifically designed their DL mount lenses for aerial photography with an “ultra-short flange focal distance” and lightweight carbon fiber housings. This reduces weight and improves gimbal and aircraft stability.

Leaf Shutter & Consistent Filter Thread Sizes. DJI included a leaf shutter system to reduce the effects of rolling shutter and banding from artificial light sources.
