Get Gainz. The Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-Z 1-Channel Mic Activator is capable of boosting microphone signals by +12 dB or +25 dB with very little noise to greatly increase the signal to noise ratio of power hungry dynamic and ribbon microphones.
HPF & Variable Impedance. This version of the Cloudlifter has a variable signal impedance knob to support a wide range of microphones and devices between 150 ohms to 15 kOhms. The high pass filter has a range of 20 Hz to 200 Hz.
Requires Phantom Power. This cloud lifter will require inline +48V phantom power to operate. This could be provided by your mixer, interface, or a phantom power adapter. No phantom power is passed through the device.

The Cloudlifter CL-Z requires a 48V+ phantom power input but does not pass power to a microphone. For this reason, we only recommend using this device with dynamic microphones.
