Versatile SSD Enclosure. The Atech Blackjet VX-2SSD USB 3.1 Type-C SSD Media Dock lets you easily ingest, edit, or archive your footage on Windows 10, 8, or 7 systems, and Mac OS X 10.5 and later systems that support 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3. It boasts two SSD slots for maximum efficiency, UASP support that’s optimized for SATA III 6 Gb/s SSDs that are up to 9.5mm tall, and a durable industrial housing.
Three Hardware Settings. This dock’s hardware controller drives a striped RAID 0 setting for users who need maximum speed and performance without any data redundancy, and a mirrored, slightly slower RAID 1 setting for users who require a backup solution. Finally, there’s a Just a Bunch of Disks (JBOD) setting for users who require as much storage as possible. You can configure the JBOD setting to act as independent disks or volumes.
