Works With The Alexa Mini LF. This drive was designed by Codex in partnership with ARRI for use in their ARRI Alexa Mini LF and ARRI Alexa 35. it is not compatible with other cameras.

960GB of Useable Storage. When inserted into an Alexa Mini LF you’ll have 960 GB of useable space despite the 1TB label. This translates to roughly 32 minutes of 4.5K ARRIRAW recording at 24p and 52 minutes of ProRes 444 recording at UHD 4K/24p.

Are there any known issues with this product?

We’ve recently had a few reports of camera errors occurring as a result of pulling a drive from the Mini LF soon after ending a recording session. ARRI recommends waiting at least ten seconds after ending a recording session before removing a compact drive from the camera.
In the event you pull a drive too soon after a recording session and the camera freezes or displays an error message, ARRI recommends remounting the drive and power cycling the camera with the drive inside.
While we don’t expect this issue to impact most users, we will continue to monitor the situation in hopes that ARRI will come to a long term solution in the near future.
