5600K Daylight-Balanced LED. The Aputure Amaran AL-MW Mini LED Light brings features from larger fixtures to an affordable, pocket-sized LED. It’s a daylight-balanced video light that uses a chip-on-board white LED to produce 5600K white light, and it has CRI and TLCI ratings of 95+. It features ten brightness levels, and gives you 4000 lux brightness at 1 foot. There’s also a boost mode, which provides 60 seconds of overclocked brightness and gives you 6000 lux at 1 foot.

Internal, Rechargeable Battery. The AL-MW features a non-swappable internal battery that will keep it powered for up to eighty minutes at maximum brightness or twenty-four hours at minimum brightness on a single charge.

Built-In Effects. This LED has five built-in special effects—Faulty Bulb, Paparazzi, Lightning, TV, and Fireworks—which you can use to enhance your shots. This rental also includes six CTO/CTB gels and two diffusers that’ll help you adjust your color output and spread.

Durable, Extremely Compact Build. The AL-MW’s small form and light weight mean that you can hide it about anywhere for secondary and effects lighting, and that you can use its 1/4"-20 thread to mount it on a camera or articulating arm without worry. Its all-aluminum build is plenty tough, though. It’s IP68 dustproof, and it’s waterproof down to 33 feet so you can safely use it underwater and in rainy conditions.
