Curated for parents by parents, our “Keep it Dead Simple” (“KIDS” for short) kits are specially designed for easy setup, simple use, and now feature 4K! This kit includes:
This kit has been designed with a bare minimum of added accessories to make setup even easier. In this kit, you’ll find a camcorder, fluid head monopod, memory card, battery, and related accessories—every component you’ll need to start shooting. If we’ve done our job as curators, you’ll be able to unbox and assemble this kit in less than fifteen minutes, and get shooting with minimal technical expertise.
Our KIDS 4K Package – Basic Monopod Kit provides a stable shooting base but also allows you ease of mobility so you can quickly change shooting positions. The supplied fluid head monopod offers a slim form factor which makes it well-suited for shooting in confined spaces. Note that the built-in microphone picks up practically all audio around the camera, with varying degrees of quality.
The HF G50 camcorder comes preset to record approximately 3.5 hours of high-quality Ultra HD 4K video to the included 256GB card. The fixed 20x zoom lens lets you get close to the action, even when you’re relegated to the sidelines or the back of the room.

The fixed 20x zoom lens lets you get close to the action, even when you’re relegated to the sidelines or the back of the room. The supplied rechargeable battery will power the camcorder for roughly two and half hours of continuous 4K recording (per charge) and the lower capacity BP-820 battery adds another 100 minutes to make sure you have plenty of juice to capture your shot! For longer recordings, you can use the included AC adapter or rent additional batteries and memory cards as needed (links below).
