BLAIR Chip Project. Innovation meets power with the workhorse that is the Aputure STORM 1200x Tunable White LED Monolight. Sporting an Aputure-developed BLAIR chipset, this studio light features blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red LEDs. This groundbreaking chipset helps boost color accuracy and brightness levels, and offers a full CCT range of 2500 to 10,000K, green-magenta color correction, and multicolor diodes for improved color-matching. Additionally, the STORM scores a 95 rating for CRI/TCLI standards and a 87 SSI rating at 3200 and 5600K color temperatures.

Advanced Dimming, Control, & Functionality. The included STORM controller is capable of both wired and wireless control protocols, including DMX, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net, and sACN Ethernet, and app control via Bluetooth and the Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro apps. Featuring stepless dimming from .1 to 100%, this LED produces flicker-free and color-accurate operation even at the STORM’s lowest output.

Outlast the STORM. With a IP65 rating, this LED resists dust and weather conditions to push through even the most demanding set environments. Its familiar Bowens S mount broadens compatibility with a large range of Bowens modifiers.

Skid Support. The Aputure Skid for STORM is a stainless steel support accessory designed to deliver on-set peace of mind by allowing you to set the secured LED on the ground without fear of it tipping over. Plus, it can still accommodate all of the LED’s necessary cables and accessories when attached!

CF12 Fresnel & Barndoors. The Aputure CF12 Fresnel for STORM 1200x/1000c pairs up the CF12 Fresnel and CF12 Barndoors to intensify light output by up to 9x, effectively producing 60,000 lux at 3200K. A tight 15° to a medium 45° beam spread delivers focused and brilliant studio lighting with smooth falloff from the center to the edge.
