Canon’s widest 1.4 lens will not disappoint! A favorite for still photographers and DSLR video folk, this lens rocks. A huge 1.4 maximum aperture is great for dimly-lit rooms and available light photography. Opening up a full two stops wider than f/2.8 lenses, the 24L II lets in 4 times as much light as it’s f/2.8 brethren. Legendary Canon L prime contrast and clarity really shine through with this lens. This lens improves on the original 24L, which was a bit soft in the extreme corners on a full-frame camera. This lens gets it right!
