Fast Normal-Length Prime. The Tokina opera 50mm f/1.4 FF for Canon is a fast, versatile normal-length prime that’s great in low light. Using an APS-C camera? You’ll get a 80mm equivalent focal length.
Ultrasonic Autofocus System. The ring-shaped ultrasonic autofocus motor gives you fast, nearly silent performance that’s great for still and video shooting alike. You also get full-time manual focusing for precision adjustments.
Constant f/1.4 Aperture. The bright f/1.4 maximum aperture gives you excellent response in low-light conditions and improved depth-of-field control for subject-background isolation. The rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
High-Quality Optics. The nine-group/fifteen-element optical formula includes three super-low dispersion elements and one aspherical element to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion. Each individual element has Extremely Low Reflection (ELR) Coating to combat flare and ghosting while maintaining high contrast and accurate color fidelity.
