Anyone looking to shoot underwater will love our line of Ikelite products. The heavy duty housings are contoured to the camera, completely corrosion free and super durable. The clear case allows for a clear view of the main o-ring seal, port o-ring seal and camera controls as well as allowing you to see any moisture inside, or worse, a leak! We choose to have Ikelite available for rental due to the access of almost every camera control except the multi-controller.
This Ikelite housing for the Canon 5DMkII comes complete with a port and dome that works best with16-35 f/2.8L II, 17-40 f/4L, 135L or 100 Macro due to lens size and circumference. The 24-105L IS and 24-70 F4 IS lenses can also be used, however without the zoom functionality. As a courtesy to our gear cleaning team, try to give the housing a quick freshwater rinse and dry off before sending it back if possible!
We supply the model 5510.24 port & the 5510.45 8" Dome. We include one zoom or focus sleeve, model 5509.28. Please note that Ikelite does not officially support the Canon 16-35 f/2.8 II because it will not pass through the port in one direction. We've outlined an assembly procedure in the videos below that works. It simply requires you to mount the port, then the lens, prior to screwing on the dome. Do not be detered by Ikelite not listing the Canon's 16-35 f/2.8 II as a supported lens.
The newest version of the Canon 16-35 f/2.8 L IS III WILL NOT WORK IN OUR HOUSINGS. It is too long and too wide for the current port and dome combination.
