Sony's newest A7 series camera can shoot video or stills at a mind-boggling ISO 409600!. The A7s can output 4:2:2 UHD 4K at 30p/24p/25p directly through the micro-HDMI port, though currently there are no 4K recorders that can decode Sony's signal. Internally, the camera can record beautiful 1080p, up to 60p, at ridiculously high ISO directly to an SD card. The camera can even record 120fps footage at 720p to get amazing slow mo shots in a super small package. Sony also introduced a new gamma setting, S-Log2, to help filmmakers get the most editing leeway out of their footage.
Add a Metabones E to EF lens adapter to get full frame coverage from all of Canon's EF lenses! The Metabones MKIV adapter will also automatically put the camera into crop mode when used with any Canon EF-S lens.
In order to record XAVC-S to the internal SD card, you must use a UHS-II Class 3 card like our Sandisk 64GB 280MB/s.
We DEFINITELY recommend getting more than one battery with this camera, shooting video will only last about an hour per battery. Get some more NP-FW50 batteries here. Take a look at the Switronix PowerBase Battery system as well.
