The Sony A7II Full Frame Mirrorless camera features a number of improvements over the previous A7. A 5-Axis Steady-Shot INSIDE image stabilization (IS) gives you up to 4.5 stops of built-in steady awesomeness. The same 24.3 MP sensor as the A7 has a beefed up image processor gives the hybrid AF system a 30% speed increase over the previous model along with a 5 fps burst mode. The A7II also starts up about 40% faster than the A7.
On the video side of things, the A7II is now able to record using the high bitrate XAVC S format with 60p, 30p, & 24p recording options, all at 50Mbps. The selectable S-Log2 gamma setting gives you insane dynamic range so you are able to push more in post.
Please note: while this camera accepts E Mount lenses, it requires FE lenses for full frame coverage
Add a Metabones E to EF lens adapter to get full frame coverage from all of Canon's EF lenses! The Metabones MKIV adapter will also automatically put the camera into crop mode when used with any Canon EF-S lens.
In order to record XAVC-S to the internal SD card, you must use a crazy fast card like our Sandisk 64GB 280MB/s.
