One of the first Sigma lenses geared toward sports shooting, the 120-300mm f/2.8 is well-suited for fast-moving subjects that often require a mix of longer range and wide-aperture control. This lens’s dust- and splashproof construction makes it excellent for shooting in outdoor and adverse conditions.
Build. The design features rubber focus and zoom rings and conveniently located mode switches to enhance usability with the lens. A built-in Optical Stabilizer provides a four-stop equivalent reduction in the appearance of camera shake, while the Hyper Sonic AF Motor provides fast, smooth, and quiet autofocusing for faster performance that benefits photographers and videographers.
Dock Compatible. As part of Sigma’s Global Vision series, this lens is compatible with the Sigma USB Dock for Nikon F Lenses, which allows you to use the Sigma Pro Optimization software to tailor certain lens settings to your shooting needs.
Sigma TC-Compatible. This lens is officially supported by Sigma’s own TC-1401 1.4x and TC-2001 2x Teleconverter for Nikon.
