The RED DSMC2 REDVOLT Expander allows users to power a RED DSMC2 brain with REDvolt batteries and also adds two phantom powered XLR ports, two SDI ports, an HDMI port, and tons more. Key features include:

REDvolt Battery Powered. The RED DSMC2 REDVOLT Expander gives you new options for powering a RED DSMC2 camera brain and accessories. Use RED’s REDvolt batteries as a short term power solution or to simply save time when swapping between batteries. The expander holds one battery.
Inputs. For projects needing professional audio recorded in-camera, this expander gives users two 24-bit/48 kHz XLR ports with optional 48V phantom power. Also available is BNC input for genlock, and the standard RED 6-pin LEMO DC power port.
Outputs. Video can be sent out via two 3G-SDI or one HDMI port, and audio can be monitored with the 3.5mm (1/8") headphone port. 5 volts of USB power are available as well as auxillary power from a 2-pin LEMO port. There are many more options for I/O with a 9-pin LEMO for gigabit ethernet, 4-pin LEMO for RS-232 I/O, 5-pin LEMO for timecode I/O, 4-pin LEMO power/trigger/tally I/O, and 7-pin LEMO power/trigger I/O.
