What is the maximum supported weight?

The Ronin-S can support camera & lens combos up to 7.9 pounds, but keep in mind that just because your gear is under weight does not mean it will balance well.

With the right combination of camera and lens, the included riser will technically allow you to balance the BMPCC4K but we wouldn’t call it an elegant solution. To properly accommodate the width of the camera, we recommend renting the LanParte Ronin-S Offset Plate for BMPCC4K and BMPCC6K.

Please note, this gimbal does not offer any camera controls for the BMPCC. If you have any questions regarding compatibility, contact us and a video tech will be happy to help you determine the best gimbal solution for your shoot.

Yes. We include two adjustable lens gears to allow this motor to control non-geared lenses.
