Canon has updated it's workhorse DIgital Cinema Camera with the C300 Mark II. The Mark II features a Super 35 CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AutoFocus. The Canon DIGIC DV 5 image processor makes its first appearance, making this an even better for green screen as it pulls separate RGB data out of one chip. With a dynamic range of 15 stops and 2K 12-bit 4:4:4, this thing is sure to produce beautiful clean footage. It also has a crazy ISO range of 100-102400! The Mark II can record 4K (4096x2160,) UHD (3840x2160,) and HD (1920x1080.) It features the new XF-AVC codec, which is an H.264 wrapped in a widely-supported MXF wrapper. All of these formats are recorded directly to the Dual CFast 2.0 card slots. The C300 Mark II requires 3500x speed CFast 2.0 cards, such as our Lexar 256GB 540Mb/s 3600x cards. An SD card slot is also present to record 2K and Full HD. The C300 Mark II has 2x 3G-SDI outputs, Timecode input and output, full size HDMI, 2x XLR inputs, and genlock input BNC connectors. Built in ND filters, waveform monitor, vectorscope, focus assist, zebras, and a high res EVF round out the camera's pro features. This thing is sure to handle almost anything you can throw at it!
