AtomHDR Display. The Atomos Sumo’s 19-inch 1920 × 1080 LCD monitor features a wide 10-stop dynamic range and a 10-bit signal processor, making it capable of mapping log footage, PQ, and HLG video feeds from popular cameras, game consoles, and TV manufacturers into vibrant HDR in real time. It produces bright, vivid images, even when outputting to a larger HDR/REC. 709 display, and it’s compatible with many popular editing programs and grading suites.
HDMI and SDI Interfaces. The Sumo19M offers full-size HDMIand SDI input and output ports, so that you can easily connect and convert among any combination of HDMI 2.0 and SDI (Quad 3G/6G/12G). This monitor accepts up to 4K at up to 60 fps, or HD at up to 240 fps over HDMI or the dual SDI inputs. The user interface boasts dedicated input-selection buttons that let you quickly make A/B comparisons between sources, and you get simultaneous HDMI and SDI output for routing to other monitors, recorders, or switchers.
Daylight-Viewable Screen. By taking advantage its full 1200 cd/m² brightness, you can use the Sumo19M in the brightest of outdoor environments without requiring a hood. However, if the need arises we include one with the rental.
V-Mount. This version of the Atomos Sumo19M includes two Anton Bauer V-Mount battery plates. To help keep cost down and give you the most flexibility, we don’t include any V-Mount batteries or chargers with the rental. However, we do have a variety to choose from that are available to rent separately.
Constant Power. You get two 4-pin XLR inputs for power, so that the Sumo19M can automatically switch power sources if one stops providing power. You can also use the separate power bracket to use hot-swappable V-Mount batteries in the field.
Versatile Use. The Sumo19M is essentially a jack-of-all trades, whether that’s out in the field on a DIT cart, setup as a 1st AC monitor / Director’s monitor, or in the studio for the editing workflow. Whatever your needs, there’s a good chance it will excel. We include the standard desktop feet for tabletop use, as well as a Matthews VESA Monitor Mount for use on C-stand (not included).
Video cables not included! With there being so many different variations of HDMI and SDI cables you could possibly need depending on your rig, we've elected to not bundle any video cables with the rental. However, here are links our available cables: HDMI Cables & SDI Cables
As far as we know Atomos has no plans to bring multi-input support to the 19M.
