Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 Planar T* ZE for Canon EF
Zeiss ZE lenses use the same legendary glass that Zeiss is known for. The ZE series uses the same glass as the CP.2s but in a much smaller package. These lenses are manual focus ONLY, not for the faint of heart, but the images are worth it. Incredible detail, contrast, and clarity. We frequently recommend these lenses for filmamakers who either don't want or have no need for the huge focus range & size of the CP.2 (they're also much cheaper!)
