Small HD DP6 Field Monitor

First and foremost, the ultimate purpose of a field monitor is to be able to see what you are shooting.Shooting in HD and monitoring in SD is a step in the wrong direction. That’s why even with a 5.6 inch screen, the DP6 delivers HD at 1280x800 resolution, making it the smallest HD monitor available. Simply put this means you truly see what you get, so there are no surprises in the editing room.

No matter how good a monitor is, if your camera doesn’t work with it then it probably won’t be very helpful to you. That’s why the standard HD inputs– HDMI, Component are available on the DP6.

Shooting on location often means rough conditions and packing light, two things that can take a toll on lesser-equipped... equipment. This in mind, rather than the industry-standard injection-molded plastic or bent sheet metal we chose to give the DP6 a solid, milled aluminum shell, making the unit both lightweight and extremely strong.

Auto aspect ratio detection to deal with any signal type, a highly accurate focus assist, preset andcustomizable image scaling, full RGB color controls, 1:1 pixel mapping – A lot of effort has gone into making sure these features are not simply buzz-words to cross off a list, but ones that truly improve workflow.

Your unit will ship with Canon battery plate which will allow you power the monitor using your Canon 5D II and 7D batteries. The unit will also ship with a Canon LPE6 battery, as well as an HDMI-HDMI mini cable and a hot shoe mount. Please let us know if you would like a standard HDMI-HDMI cable instead of the HDMI-HDMI mini.
