Nikon D7100

Nikon's 1.5x crop body camera bridges the gap between the smaller bodies like the D5100s & D90s and the larger bodies like the D300. This body also offers a 1.3x option which results in slightly smaller image sizes. 24.1 megapixels gives you planty of room to crop your images in post if you prefer. It has enough auto modes to make your head spin, a 51-point autofocus mechanism and NO low-pass filter. This results in sharper images with the cost of slightly more moire (though we have yet to notice moire patterns in real world shooting.)
